That's one badass article, sir, especially for only your second overall. Jersyko 05:22, Mar 21, 2005 (UTC)

Thankyou very much. Hopefully, my future articles will be even better! Ha. J.R. Franco 03:45, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • Let me add that I was absolutely stunned by the quality of your article. Lately I've taken to writing shorter articles or cleaning up the mess that is the "recently created article" page, and it's just a joy to see an article of such quality. Zantastik 06:14, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Again, thanx again. We need some histologists to look over some of what I wrote because... whew. That was not easy. J.R. Franco 06:32, 23 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Dental Explorer

[edit]
This article is the most frightening thing on this encyclopedia. I hate those damn things. - Jersyko 23:51, May 19, 2005 (UTC)
Oh come on... it's a nice intrument. Very nice.... isn't it precious.... :)

Images of Memphis

[edit]

Hey, good idea about taking pictures. An idea might be a meetup, and walk/drive around Memphis and take pictures. Cheers. Burgundavia (✈ take a flight?) 04:19, May 22, 2005 (UTC)

Your Article

[edit]

We may have already discussed this, but I think it would be a good idea for your to have a good dental school professor examine this article before it is renominated for featured status. I just want it to be as good as it can be, and am confident it will make it to featured status. -- Zantastik talk 22:05, 17 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Your dental knowledge rocks my body; nice work on the tooth development article. - Jersyko talk 20:30, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)

Tooth Enamel

[edit]

I copyedited the tooth enamel article and ran it through spellcheck. If i made a change that altered the content of a sentence, as opposed to just a grammar/stylistic change, feel free to scold me harshly. :) - Jersyko talk July 2, 2005 21:22 (UTC)

Excellent pictures :). - Jersyko talk July 5, 2005 23:35 (UTC)

I went through the article and made a few stylistic changes. Also, could you clarify the following passage a bit?

Knowing the orientation of enamel is very important in restorative dentistry because enamel unsupported by underlying dentin is prone to fracture and usually is avoided [1].

Avoided by whom? Dentists when they work on teeth? Just being nitpicky, as is necessary for featured articles, especially ones which raise the standards for featured articles in general, as yours does. -- Zantastik (not logged in due to this stupid, slow computer I'm using. You can respond to my talk page as usual)

  • Thanks for the clarification -- I considered including your clarification in the article itself, but I eventually decided that it would be better for you, the expert, to write it. Also, I think that the person who suggested reordering the article a bit was probably right. Good luck! --Zantastik talk 21:13, 11 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Nevermind -- you're right; don't move the sections. It should be very easy to format the online references properly though. -- Zantastik (not logged in due to this stupid, slow computer I'm using. You can respond to my talk page as usual)
  • Are you going to take a shot at formatting the online references? I might have some time to help tonight if i'm able to get a little bit accomplished on my paper first . . . - Jersyko talk 20:29, July 13, 2005 (UTC)
    • Hmmm, sorry, i'm having trouble figuring out exactly what needs to be done. I would be happy to make the change, but you seem to understand what needs to be done better than I (you just lack the time to do it). Explaining it to me anymore might take longer than just doing it yourself . . . I so stupid :P- Jersyko talk 01:29, July 14, 2005 (UTC)
  • You ought to add your own "support" vote for the tooth enamel article. I don't see why you couldn't, just mention that you're the main author. - Jersyko talk 18:09, July 15, 2005 (UTC)
  • Yay! Congrats :). - Jersyko talk 01:30, July 18, 2005 (UTC)

Speedy deletion criteria

[edit]

You ought to check this out, while some of the changes proposed might not be bad ideas, others are worded in ways that could be quite dangerous. I've voted in 4 so far. - Jersyko talk 21:13, July 15, 2005 (UTC)

Since you're a dental student, I guess I should ask you - dental caries currently redirects to dental cavities. I'm thinking it should be the other way around or that dental caries deserves its own article. Do you concur? Alex.tan 01:55, August 3, 2005 (UTC)
